North Salem Old Fashion Days is a three-day event from Aug. 31- Sept. 2 in northwest Hendricks County.  This small town brings back all of its old traditions and introduces a few new ones all while greeting you with a smile and ushering you in for a weekend full of food, fun and lively entertainment.

A smorgasbord breakfast kicks off the festival at 7 a.m. on Saturday at the United Methodist Church on Main Street. At 11 a.m., you can't miss the Old Fashion Days Parade, the largest parade in Hendricks County. Be sure to bring a sack for the kiddos as candy will be aplenty and plan to come early as parking will fill up fast.

The North Salem Old Fashion Days began in 1975 and has continued every year since its inception. The Festival has become an important part of the heritage of North Salem and we thank the many sponsors, committee members, volunteers and community for their continued support.
With over 10,000 visitors annually, we have grown to become the largest festival in Hendricks County! We hope you will visit the North Salem Old Fashion Days and enjoy all that the festival has to offer!

The North Salem Old Fashion Days is located in North Salem, Indiana (Hendricks County) and held annually on the Labor Day Weekend. During the 3-day festival there are many attractions for all ages to enjoy. There is live entertainment, kids area and entertainment, craft booths, food vendors, and a huge parade on Saturday morning.

Other events include the Perillo's Pizza Eating Contest, 10K/5K Run/ Walk road run (Monday, Labor Day), pet parade, horse pull, pie contest, car show, truck pull on Saturday, 3rd Annual Corn Hole Tournament on Sunday, bed race, and kiddie tractor pull contests..
